“Many people ask me why I chose to be an architect. The truth is that no one chooses this profession, it chooses you.”

From the very beginning, Jessica's journey as an architect was destined to be extraordinary. It all started during a car ride at the tender age of eight when she chose to redraw scenes from a coloring book instead of simply coloring within the lines. Encouraged by her artist and woodworker grandfather, she realized her innate gift for drawing and design. As she grew older, Jessica's passion for both creativity and precision led her to explore her father's engineering roots while embracing her artistic instincts. The decision to pursue a career in architecture became an undeniable calling as she checked the box "Architect" on her college applications at just sixteen years old.

Jessica's unique background beautifully marries high-end design with economical construction practices, a rare combination that sets J.Cor apart. Her formative years were marked by an unyielding fascination with houses and construction, an enthusiasm that sparked whenever her parents went house hunting or when friends were building their custom homes. Guided by her grandfather's nurturing mentorship, Jessica's artistic abilities flourished, and she found solace in architecture as it chose her, rather than the other way around.

As she progressed through college and master's program, Jessica's passion for architecture was further cemented during an eye-opening internship at Arcosanti in Arizona. Surrounded by the breathtaking desert landscape, she fell in love with the natural beauty of the southwest and encountered influential mentors like Paolo Soleri and Vernon Swaback. After graduation, her journey took her to Southern California, where she spent a decade honing her skills in the residential home-building industry, leaving her mark on prestigious projects in communities like Rancho Mission Viejo and The Great Park in Irvine.

Now, as the founder of J.Cor Architecture, Jessica, a true artist, and engineer, is driven by a profound passion for your project. She deeply cares about crafting homes that not only elevate your lifestyle but also become beautiful works of art. 

With each project, Jessica and her team infuse spaces with a harmonious blend of artistic brilliance and practicality, creating homes that honor the rituals of living and elevate the lives of those who inhabit them.
